First impressions are important, and Jade made a great first impression. She met me at the door with a smile, offered me something to drink, and told me to relax on the sofa while she finished setting up. I was comfortable with her immediately.
For those who care about looks, she's strikingly pretty and very sexy...yes, those are her photos in her ads (refreshing!).
Jade truly cares about her work, and it shows in the small details:
- She adjusted the room temperature and music to my comfort level.
- Non-greasy, custom-made lotion was used (she makes her own). The lotion was removed after each body part was treated, ensuring that it didn't have time to sink into my skin.
- Great personality--she's fun to talk to, if you're feeling chatty. But she takes her cues from her clients and she doesn't talk when she senses you want to zone out for awhile.
I prefer light to medium pressure, and that's what I got. She is really good about getting feedback during the session and she does it in an unobtrusive way (and with her beautiful accent, which others have already commented on). Her body work style is slow and intuitive and she removed all the knots in my back and shoulders and "uncreaked" my joints (great hand and foot massage...very pampering).
To say that she's not a clock watcher is an understatement. My session went well past the expected time, which added to what was already a great value.
The best therapy leaves you feeling good before, during and after the session, and Jade met all my expectations. She treated me like a guest in her home as soon as I arrived; her therapy was relaxing and tailored to my wishes/needs; I still felt great days later, even in my trouble spots (joints, shoulders and back); and she's very sweet. I have been looking for a permanent replacement for my former provider (too flaky), and after meeting Jade, i don't want to see anyone else.
